It was celebrated in our school on 27th September 2017.  All the children wearing colorful dresses and did garba using Dandia.

Garba is a form of dance which originated in the state of Gujarat in India. The name is derived from the Sanskrit term Garbha and Deep. Many traditional garbas are performed around a centrally lit lamp or a picture or statue of the Goddess Shakti.

Rawan Dahan - Ravan's effigy was burnt and  the story behind its dahan told.   Children took oath that they would give up their bad habits to give meaning to triumph of good over evil.
